Girls Night!

Girls night are my favorite!

That's Katie!

 Met through our husbands and now were inseparable. Every Thursday has turned into our girls night. We cook, watch Grey's and Scandal and of course have some wine! The guys always go in the garage and play pool or they end up watching Grey's. Then they start asking a million questions about what's going on. (Drives us insane)

This is the result of this past Thursday. 

Chicken tacos and drinks! Since Grey's season 12 started we'd have pasta or pizza.. It was time to change it up. Lol. Katie makes the desserts, I can cook but baking has never been my strong point. ;) 

Still not sure what we're going to do when these last three episodes are over for the season. Find some other show to get obsessed over together. Or just make the guys take us for Sonic milkshakes. 

Thursdays have became my favorite day because of our girls night! :)

BACON FESTIVAL & ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

Spent the day at the bacon festival here in El Paso! So. Much. Bacon. It was the perfect way to end the weekend and spend mine and Chris's anniversary. 

 My favorite thing we had while there, fried mac & cheese balls! They were amazing!!

 Strawberry lemonade. All I drank the whole time and it was so good! :)

 And of course, the ham & cheese sandwich with bacon. 

We had a lot of other things while there like the bacon cupcakes, bacon cookie (didn't taste like bacon), and the bacon quesadilla (which wasn't all that great.) Overall it was such a fun day, and we will be going back next year!

On another note, I seriously can not believe that Chris and I have been married a whole year. It's really been one of the best years of my life. There's been so many adventures shared between us, and I can't wait for the ones to come! One of the main things I love about Chris is his ability to always see the bright side. His patience amazes me daily. He truly inspires me to be a better me each and every day!

I can not wait to see what the future holds for the two of us! 

 Ps: the wind was crazy today, so that calls for crazy hair! :D

I absolutely love this top from Francescas. The scalloped bottom and arms is what sold me on it. The sandals are from Belk (last Spring). They're not as comfortable as I would've liked. Jeans are from Old Navy and they are my favorite. They fit so good and true to size. Necklace was a gift from Kate Spade!

FAIR FAIR FAIR

My favorite childhood memory is when my parents would take me to the county fair. As an adult you, realize how much of a ripoff it really is, and how sketchy the rides are. 

Tonight Chris and I decided we were going to go the fair here in El Paso. The main reason I wanted to go was to go to the petting zoo they had. The only animals at the petting zoo were goats, sheep, and cows. 

I spent a good 20 minutes feeding them. 

I'm just like a little girl again when I go to the fair. 

We had these awesome grilled cheese sandwich's with fries. Also, I got fried oreos, and Chris got a fried honey bun.

Needless to say, we will be going back before it ends for more food and to see the animals. Because what animal lover can just go to a petting zoo once? I thought so. ;)

It was a chilly night here in El Paso but deff worth it. I love nights like tonight where it's just Chris and I. I have so much fun. Wouldn't want to gain 50 pounds just from the fried food alone with anyone else. <3

Love this man even more than I love our adventures!
