Off The Shoulder Top

Hey Y'all!

Hope you all had a wonderful fourth. :)

I've been dying to wear this top to be able to share it with y'all. It has easy become one of my favorite pieces in my closet. And I see why everyone is obsessed with the off the shoulder look, because I am now just like everyone else and need everything that is off the shoulder. Lol

Here it is!! I love love love the color! 

I got it from Belk and the best part is it was UNDER $30!! 

It is still in stock & they have it in stripes also. ;)

My shorts are also from Belk. (Of Course)

The other thing I HAVE to share with you guys is this BBQ place that we go to.

It's called Rudy's and OMG.. It's the best ever!!

Is this not the best looking brisket you've ever seen? Seriously makes me want to go for lunch now! Lol

If you're ever around one deff give a try you won't be disappointed. And they have all sorts of other things. including sandwiches. 

The last thing I want to share with y'all is my Dillard's find over the holiday weekend!

I was VERY excited when I found these.

I found these Jack Rogers sandals on the clearance rack. Only because they were an online return. Dillard's does not carry the Jacks in store.  When I saw them I just knew they weren't going to be in my size.. But they were. So I just knew it was meant to be. Lol. So make sure to always check your clearance racks, never know what you might find. ;)

ROMPER LOVIN' & LAKE TRIP

Hey y'all! 

Sorry it's been over a week since I've posted. Been crazy busy. 

This last week has been crazy, we were doing every day life stuff and getting ready for the lake. And let me tell you, the lake was SOO much fun. The sunburn i have, not so much fun. Thought I'd share some pictures from our trip with you guys!

We went with a group of people so it was so great to hang out with everyone. We got there around 9AM and stayed until 4:30PM. We were all so tired, but ready to plan another trip! 

 Convinced this view can't be beat. :)

 Bikini top is from JCP as mentioned before. Katie's swimsuit is from Ross, and she got it for a great price!

Chris jumping off the cliff. It might not look that high, but it really is. There's no way ANYONE could pay me to get up there. Lol. The guys loved it though.

Also, I want to share this romper with you guys. It's from last year, but I just love it.

Romper is from Belk. Purse is my FAVORITE Michael Kors. It is the Selma medium Saffiano leather satchel. Shoes are from Ross. I adore this romper, and it fits so well.

Pool Day & Puppy Love

Happy Saturday Guys! 

Just wanted to share some of the things I bring to the pool with me when I go. Thursday we went to a friends apartment and got in the pool. The temp here in El Paso was around 106. So as you can imagine, It was hot!! Got a nice tan while we were out there, so I'm pretty happy! Lol. 

I love this bag (from Belk), I carried it ALL last summer when we first got to El Paso. I can fit any and everything in it. This bathing suit is probably my favorite one I own. I'm pretty bummed that it has gotten to be big on me, so I'm having to find another ASAP before we go to the lake next weekend. This beach towel is huge!! It is from belk, it's such a soft towel. I'll deff be ordering a new one soon. They have new designs every year in them. And I never go to the pool or lake without sunscreen. Deff a must have! I love this bathing suit cover up from Target! Although, when I washed it yesterday it tore. I'm pretty upset about that. 

Here's a better picture of the bathing suit. Like I said, I love it, it has just gotten to big for me. I'm all about bright colors. Lol. It is from JCP & it was on sale when I picked it up!

I just have to throw in these cute pictures of the dogs the other day!!

 My heart hurts even thinking that in December these two will be 3 years old. I'm not sure when they got so big, I love them so much. They're my first babies. 

And this dirty nose, 70lb, 6 month old puppy will be a year old in December.. He was suppose to be Chriss' dog, but I think he loves me more! (shhhh, don't tell him!) I feel like I blinked and they all grew up on me. All they need me for now is to open the door so they can go outside. Lol. 

It's so fun watching them grow up.. <3

 

Ok, I'm done now before I start to cry because they're so big!!

Date Night!!

Hey Ya'll!

Finally talked Chris into going to Olive Garden last night. :) We've been trying to try new places instead of going to the same ones, so we haven't been in awhile. It was deff worth the wait! 

This dress, from Dillard's, is so comfy! It fits amazing, the fabric is so soft. I love it. AND it was on sale for less than $40!! My shoes are from Ross, I'm obsessed with them!! My watch is Fossil. Necklace is from Zales, got it as a gift. Earrings are from Belk. 

This outfit is so easy and perfect for summer. Especially here in El Paso, since it's been in the 100's every day! 

This mascara is probably my all time favorite. I've been using it for around two years. It's the Estee Lauder Double Wear. Mine is in the color 01 Black. It is long lasting, lengthening ,and stays on ALL night.
Macy's has it online for $26 as does the Estee Lauder site.

BIRTHDAY POST!

Happy Wednesday!!

Sunday was my birthday, we went out to eat at this new place called Funkmeyer's Rec Room. They had food, drinks, and arcade games.The games were all the 90's arcade games. It was so good to get out and have some fun. I really can't thank Chris enough for going all out and making sure I had a great night. 

The food and drinks were AMAZING!!

We'll deff be going back to eat there and play some games. That was the only pictures I got from that night. The company was the best part of the night! 

Went shopping at Dillard's yesterday. Oh my gosh! They had some of the cutest stuff on sale. I got a dress, and a romper and they'll be on the blog soon! :)

Memorial Day and Weekend!

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and a good Memorial Day holiday. This weekend we got everyone together to talk about going to the lake in a couple weeks. We cooked out and hung out with everyone, it was fun to get together. I'm so ready for the lake and camping!

We didn't really do anything for Memorial Day. We stayed around the house and hung out before Chris had to go back to work for the week. 

 This is from earlier last week. I have to talk about how comfortable this top from Marshall's is. I seriously want to go back and get it in every color I can find! It's a light fabric and just so easy to throw on while on the go. My shorts are from Belk. Sandals are Sperry. They're awesome. Love them!! Watch is Fossil. Better picture below.

Here's a better picture of the watch. Chris ordered it for me for last Christmas. I love the face of it. The colors in it make me love it!

Catch Up Over The Past Two Weeks

Hey Guys!!

The past two weeks have been packed full. Chris' mom came into town to visit with us. It was so much fun to have her here to see everything. She left Thursday ,and I decided to spend some much needed time with just Chris and the dogs. So that's the reason I've been MIA. I did get pictures of everything we did and thought I'd share with y'all! 

While Chris' mom was here we showed her around, drove her all around town and took her to our favorite places to eat. One of the many places we ate was at KiKi's. It's a Mexican restaurant, its been on the Food Network It's my favorite Mexican food place here in El Paso.

I got the chicken taco's. They're probably my favorite! Makes me want to go get some right now! Lol.

One of the other places we went was to the food trucks. We have so much fun when we go out there. 

I got the chicken quesadilla and fries with a sprite. And it's seriously one of the best quesadillas I've had here in El Paso! Chris got the steak taco's with a coke! Of course I tried his to and they were so good! LOL :) They have so many different food trucks, when we go out there we try to try a different food truck every time. Chris' mom enjoyed it so much, which made it even better.

We took her to over look the west side of El Paso. It's so beautiful. We had so much fun with Chris' mom. We can't wait until she comes back!

Friday Chris and I decided to go to the lake and take the dogs. It was so much fun!! I can't wait for June and we go to celebrate my birthday.

 My bathing suit top is from JCP. I love the color of it!

I could go to the lake every weekend and be happy. I've always loved the water, so anytime we get to go I have the best time. The dogs had so much fun running around. I'm already ready to go back and go camping. I keep telling Chris we need to go ahead and buy a boat, that way we can go every weekend! Lol. I haven't convinced him yet, but I'm working on it! Haha. 

The last adventure we had was going up to New Mexico to the Carlsbad Caverns. It was super cool and the pictures do not do it justice. If you ever get to go, I do advise going early. The only complaint I have is when we made it all the way through, the only way out was through the elevators and the line was wrapped around twice and they wouldn't let you walk back through to get out.. But other than that, it was a really cool day! Chris took pictures on the camera for me, so I have him to thank for these awesome pictures. I won't add them all, because there's over 100, but I'll try to add the best ones.

 We went with our favorite couple, Katie and Brandon! :D

 This is the water that was in the cave, you couldn't even tell it was water until you really looked at it. It just looked like you were looking down into a hole.

 This picture is of the Big Room. It was so cool! Like I said, the pictures don't do it justice. It looks awesome in person.

We had so much fun walking through and looking at everything. The weather in the cave was cool, I took a sweater to put on just in case and didn't need it. It felt really nice. 

One last thing I have to talk about before I go, I know this has been a long post. I've been going walking for the past month or so and my shoes have not been giving me the support I need. I've been looking for a couple weeks for new shoes. Finally found some that I'm obsessed with! 

They're called Adidas Neo. They are so comfortable! I want them in every color they make. I found these at Academy Sports. They're under $100 and well worth the price!! I plan on getting them in the blue as well. 

Anyways, that's what has been going on around here!
